One of the youngest commissioners in Nigeria, Seun Fakorede, shares his amazing experience as a young and vibrant citizen who got an unexpected opportunity in the state. Seun said it was a shock for him when the governor, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, called him for a private meeting and offered him the opportunity to build the state by serving as a commissioner.

In Seun’s amazement, he immediately accepted the offer because he has always believed in building the locality, which will in turn build the world.

In Seun’s response, he said to the governor, ‘I consider it a great privilege to serve the people of Oyo State.’ Adding to Seun’s surprise was the final greeting of the governor, saying, ‘Congratulations, you have the job.’
Seun, has been of immense benefit to the state, despite his young age and experience.
