I got a glimpse into what drives this remarkable young woman – beyond the news headlines. The person. The human-in-progress.
I wanted to understand what exactly makes her such a compelling figure, and how she became a cultural staple. Also, how she rises above all the controversy, the bad energy, the bitterness we see at the reunion and the intense emotions that have followed. How come the emotions run high on that show, and amongst the housemates even months after, and also with their followers.
How does she stay so delightfully untouched and unbothered (“No comment”) by all of it?
Who is Tacha? How did her late mother shape her life and her values? What’s her relationship with her father? Was this show everything she dreams about? Does the influence of the Titans (her online community) scare her? Is there a loneliness that comes from being an outsider? How does she keep her sense of self? Was this experience worth it?
