On today’s episode of #WithChude, I have with me the famous comedian and actress Stephanie Naya Isuma, popularly known as Calabar Chic.
I couldn’t have had a better chance to listen and learn from her life experiences.
She was brutally raped at 14, on her way back from church. Kidnapped by herdsmen in 2018, with a 50 million naira ransom demand. Watching as a fellow hostage was sliced with a dagger. Diagnosed with fibroid on a regular visit to the hospital.
It’s a miracle that Calabar Chic is still here, standing strong. But how has she survived a life with such trauma and pain?
