After the news that his church had been shut down, I was invited to spend a day with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of SPAC Nation for a no holds barred conversation. First at the church and then at his gorgeous Surrey, England home.
We talked about everything. Was his church shut down? We talked about it.
Does he agree that there were some things done wrong? He answered that.
Has he ever been involved in crime? I asked that.
What’s this obsession with Davido and celebrity? He responded to that.
Is he a pastor or a businessman? He had a ready response for me.
What is his message to the world with his church and his life? He gave a carefully considered response.

Pastor Tobi says in summary.
“I think the intelligence is relative. Media is supposed to show you what you want to see. So, you can’t say what you need to see because you haven’t looked. look and see for yourself. What I will say is that look and see for yourself. Don’t wear the eyes of Instagram.
Truly, if you want to see, there’s a lot to see. Five thousand messages that I’ve preached and there was no bling. I don’t care about bling or cars, I raise people.
