Growing up as Nigerians, we always depend on our parents. We are not trained to be leaders, rather, we were trained to be followers. Every problem we have always goes back to Daddy or Mummy.
I was born a Muslim – My name is Hazeez, but I couldn’t read the Quran because I didn’t know the Arabic language. I picked up The Bible because I needed to find God and I figured the supernatural power that could help me get to where nobody could. I read about Joseph, David, and other characters; I saw myself and my situation in them. I got so strong spiritually and had faith in God. At that time, I knew it was time to put God to the test and start again.
