“Of all the ladies that played my daughter in movies, Genevieve is the one I love most.” — Pete Edochie
Veteran Actor Pete Edochie stepped into a realm where the camera became his new canvas, and the silver screen became the stage for his artistry. His acting debut in “Things Fall Apart” showcased his incredible talent, and his portrayal of Okonkwo won international acclaim, even capturing the attention of the prestigious BBC, who flew to Nigeria to interview him.
He spoke about his journey in the movie industry with me and shared his relationship with several actresses in the industry; he particularly highlighted the talent of Genevieve Nnaji and had this to say about her.
Pete says:
“Of all the ladies that played my daughter in movies, Genevieve is the one I love most. She looks at me as a father, and I see her as my daughter. She is an exceptionally brilliant lady.
Although I’ve not heard much from her lately since I heard she was a little disturbed. I don’t know if that’s true, but I hope that one day, she will call me and tell me she’s okay.”
