My husband was a good father to our children. But I got to a place where I wanted more. I would always travel back and forth but I knew at a point that if I really wanted this it comes with a sacrifice. It wasn’t a sacrifice of marriage, but he being there and the distance didn’t help. When they tell young couples don’t be apart in marriage long distance relationship is straining. How much more someone you’ve been with in over 15 years at that time? It was still strenuous.
