I won’t say I’m surprised that I have an enduring fanbase because I honestly believe that it’s the dividend of my hard work. People are always there to support you when you are doing good.
I’m definitely very grateful to God for grace because I’ve seen people come and go – It’s almost 12 to 13 years now, but I’m still here. I don’t know how to explain it; I just know that there are people out there watching you, so you just need to keep working and putting things out there.
A while ago, I used to doubt myself and now I regret it because I didn’t realize how much people had been listening to my work. When people tell me how much they’ve been listening to what I put out, I’d say to myself, “So, many people are actually listening to me” – This was always such an incredible thing to me. Now becoming who I am, I feel like I’m a more confident person.
