I don’t have much of a memory of my dad because he wasn’t present in our lives. He left that I remember when I was three years, and I saw him later when I was thirteen. That was when he came to visit. Some years before he passed, I got his phone number and called. He was like “Iwo ni mo ri ba soro laii gba Visa”— “You are the one I’m talking to without collecting a Visa”, and that was all.
