Captain Ademilola Odujinrin, the First African to dare Fly solo around the World, sits #WithChude.
In 2017, Captain Lola Odunjinrin became the first African pilot to do a solo trip across the world in a a single engine lift aircraft.
He had come a very long way from child growing up in Lagos whose friends had mocked when he said he wanted to be a pilot, and whose father had said no – because his own brother had died in a plane crash.
How did he achieve that feat? How come seeing a father and son die on his way to that fear didn’t discourage him? What does he say to his kids when he embarks on this risky venture?
And why is he set to break another record later this year?
Today, he shares with me.
