Welcome to Doyin’s world. We had this conversation, of course, before she returned to #BBNaija this season – but I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her share her opinions on everything Lekki Big Boys who always have a contract coming to why she will never date a broke man.
But of course, lying underneath that fierce defensiveness is the heart of a young woman schooled by life – losing her father, leaving the church and changing her lifestyle because her mother just couldn’t afford the same things made her see life in a completely different way, and toughened her up.
