“The first time I broke the internet was when I came out and told people how I was beaten on my wedding day.
These are stories I said anonymously. People didn’t really know me at that time and I was new to the social media thing and what it means to go viral.
People were shocked and kept asking who this lady was and why she is so bold. This boldness is what I know that a lot of people don’t have on this side of the world. So, I took advantage of that opportunity.
Chude: Were you really beaten on the day of your marriage?
Yes! He beat me to the altar and I still married him. He even beat me a day before and continued on the wedding day.
I had called people now and this is not just a story, he beat me in front of my Chief bridesmaid. Everyone was there. When I tell these stories and people say it’s a lie, she’ll just come and be laughing because he didn’t beat me privately, he beat me in from of the bridal train. What happened? Because I did not pack plates.
