Nollywood’s Remarkable Child Directing: A 20-Second Masterpiece in ‘Jagun Jagun’
Nigerian Nollywood films are renowned for their captivating storytelling and compelling characters. However, one aspect of filmmaking that often gets me scared is child acting.
These young talents have consistently demonstrated their remarkable skills, and Nollywood has seen some exceptional child directing over the years.
But in this masterpiece, I watched one of the most exceptional child directors in just 20 seconds. Whattt… I was stunned, amazed, and swept off my feet when I saw the powerful emotion conveyed by the child.
This movie, Jagun Jagun, is staying rent-free in my head, and this child directing has to be the most powerful I’ve ever seen. This all speaks to the extraordinary talent of the child and the effective guidance provided by the skilled directors.
Nollywood is getting its flowers for this piece. Kudos to Adebayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo Salami for giving us this excellent piece.
